Since 1990, Global ReLeaf has been planting millions of native trees in degraded sites around the country that desperately need trees. Wildfire ReLeaf, a special effort of AMERICAN FORESTS’ Global ReLeaf Center, is planting trees in areas scorched by catastrophic wildfires of recent years. Many Global ReLeaf projects increase habitat for threatened or endangered wildlife. These trees clean the air we breathe and the water we drink. They cool the planet by taking in climate-changing carbon dioxide and reduce erosion.
